The Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) is a public rapid transit system providing high speed, computer controlled commute train service for the San Francisco Bay Area. Their hedquarters are in Oakland, California.
Operating as the Capitol Corridor Joint Powers Authority (CCJPA), BART also manages the day to day operation of AMTRAK Capitol Corridor commute trains between Sacramento and San Jose.
